Dena Blizzard, warm-up comedian for Anderson Cooper's show, "Anderson Live!" teaches a workshop on audience warm-up comedy.

Warm-up comedy is a fast-paced, think-on-your feet career within the television production world. Dena Blizzard will outline her job as a warm-up and its relevance to her first love; stand-up comedy. She will give some pointers on working with a host and camera crew, a crash course in scripts and working with producers and most importantly; how to improv your way into a career in television warm-up.

Dena Blizzard is a former Miss New Jersey turned wife and mom who has been doing comedy for ten years. Dena is currently the warm-up comic for Anderson Cooper and has previously worked for on “Paula’s Party” with Paula Deen, Emeril “Live” with Emeril Lagasse, The Nate Berkus Show, Rachel Ray, The Chew and the finale of the Celebrity Apprentice.

Time: 2-3:30pm
