Welcome WICF patrons! We look forward to having you attend WICF. Many of you have questions about the festival, so here is a FAQ:
How do I get to a specific venue?
Directions to all venues can be found at: www.womenincomedyfestival.com/info/directions.
I received a 2 for 1 coupon, how do I redeem it?
You may purchase tickets on line through www.womenincomedyfestival.com/schedule or show up and pay in person.
Does my ticket get me in to other performances? No. You must buy individual tickets for each performance.
Why are there men performing in the Women in Comedy Festival?
WICF is open to comedians of all genders. We feel it is important to have performers of all genders to foster a community of inclusion.
Are any shows appropriate for children?
We cannot guarantee that the content of any of our shows will be appropriate for audiences under 18 years of age. We recommend parents use their own discretion when attending shows with children under 18. All shows are open to all ages.
May I attend the panel discussion on Saturday at 3PM? May I attend the Round Table for performers?
Yes, you may attend the FREE Panel Discussion on Saturday at 3PM at the YWCA, Cambridge. The Round Table is closed to the public and only open to WICF performers and instructors.
Do I need to have experience to sign up for a workshop?
We suggest that you have some experience as a performer (or in workshops) so that you will have a common vocabulary with the instructor and other performers. Everyone over 18 is welcome to register. Workshops will take place at Le Meridien Hotel in Cambridge.
Where should I stay in Boston or Cambridge?
Le Méridien and Harding House in Cambridge are just a short walk to ImprovBoston, Middlesex Lounge and the YWCA Cambridge. They are a short T ride to the Longy School of Music. These are the sponsoring hotels.
