Mindy Raf & Co.
Brooklyn-based comedienne Mindy Raf performs as her folk-singing alter-ego, Leibya Rogers, along with a slew of other hilarious and deliciously familiar musical characters. Her fun-filled and “thought-provoking” musical comedy performances, from Brooklyn to Los Angeles, have won Raf numerous new fans as well as praise from 'BUST Magazine' “we walked out holding on to our ribs from laughing so hard and juggling thoughts about the objectification of women and the enslavement of vanity. No small feat.” Mindy has performed at the ECNY awards where she was nominated for Best Musical Comedy Act, she writes/records new songs weekly with her web project Mindy's Music Mondays, and last year released a full length live vinyl comedy album. Mindy has written for CollegeHumor, VH1, TNT's Embrace Your Grace, The Daily Comedy Network, and was a contributor to the "My Parents Were Awesome" anthology. Mindy is also a soon to be published novelist with Dial Books for Young Readers, a division of Penguin. Mindy was thrilled to be a part of the 2011 Women in Comedy Festival, SketchFestNYC, and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival where she was named a “stellar surprise” by The Portland Mercury.
