Naked in a Fishbowl

Fully improvised and filmed live, Naked in a Fishbowl chronicles the lives of six women in New York City with hilarious, startling, and bare-naked honesty. Audiences eavesdrop on the lives of Bonnie, Sara, Sophie, Chloe, Alice, and Ruby and watch a new story unfold every night with nothing planned but a location. Fans return every week to follow the continuing story, but newcomers can join anytime without missing a beat. This all-female comedy troupe has performed over 50 original "knockout" episodes that WCBS calls "Smart, honest, and definitely fearless." Each episode, performed and produced entirely by women, is broadcast online and the resulting web series is watched in over 80 countries, blurring the lines between theatre, television, and the web. Fishbowl premiered at the NY International Fringe Festival in 2007. The cast was presented with the Outstanding Ensemble Award and hailed as the “brightest lights of the festival.” At the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the company created six original episodes in six days and Fishbowl was listed among the “Best of the Fest.”
