Françoise "Flash" Gordon
On June 14, 2001 Françoise was hit by a car after she had exited a bus (all occurring in Chicago...not New York). As a result, she suffered a brain injury, as well as many broken bones. For the past 11 years she has been hard at work, rehabilitating herself from that horrendous accident and learning to live with the brain injury. Part of this recovery has been the stand-up comedy she has been pursuing for the last 6 years. Her jokes mainly concern this process of recovery and some of the foibles and issues she faces on a daily basis. She moved up to New York City in Feb. of 2006 and decided to "try" stand-up for the first time in her life. She hasn't looked back...
