Marga Gomez

So far Marga Gomez is 'America's Most Wanted Latina Lesbian' comedian. Her act is a delirious mix of dorkiness, narcissism, dry one liners and over the top act outs. In Premiere Magazine, Robin Williams called her "Amazing" and "a lesbian Lenny Bruce." Marc Maron interviewed her for an episode of "WTF Podcast." Her television credits include LOGO’s "One Night Stand Up, HBO's "Comic Relief" and Showtime's "Latino Laugh Festival." Marga is also the author/ performer of nine solo plays which have been produced nationally, internationally and Off Broadway. Her career is profiled in the comedy documentary “Laughing Matter’s” She is a native New Yorker, based in San Francisco who identifies as a bicoastal Gemini. As the daughter of a Cuban comedian and Puerto Rican dancer Marga made her stage debut in New York at age 7 and was hooked ever since. She is a GLAAD Award winner, and was voted "Best Comedian 2012" by readers of the SF Bay Guardian, SF Weekly and The Bay Area Reporter.
