In 2010, Jiayong Li bid farewell to his family in Beijing and embarked on a journey of mathematical study at MIT. Along the way, by the bizarre work of the cosmos as a complex indeterministic system, he came upon stand up comedy in 2012. Ever since then, his surreal sense of humor synthesized with a unique Eastern perspective has made him a local favorite. He has shared a stage with excellent comics, such as Joe Wong, Myq Kaplan, and Gary Gulman, and was invited to perform in Beijing with Jimmy Shubert and Des Bishop. He runs a monthly comedy night at MIT, and is the January 2014 Comic in Residence at The Comedy Studio.
