Linda Stogner is a definite original. In her stand-up show, Linda talks about being adopted, trains, squirrels, sheep, growing up with older parents, and the general absurdity of humanity. Joan Rivers says her "mind is cracked - very funny!" Few can claim that the first seven months of their lives involved armed robbery and gangsters on the south side of Chicago, but Linda Stogner does just that in her charming autobiographical short film, Adopted: A Love Story, in which she tells the story of how she came to live in Texas with the "two old people" who became her beloved parents. Today, Linda is an Emmy winning stand-up comic and filmmaker. She was a finalist in the 2013 and 2012 Funniest Comic in Texas Competition and has appeared on the Emmy award winning, national PBS/ABC series, Life 360. She recently performed at Boston Comedy Festival, The Limestone Comedy Festival and last year’s Women in Comedy Festival. She was also a finalist in the Last Vegas Comedy Festival, The Funniest Woman in America Contest and has appeared on the Joan Rivers Comedy Special. She has worked with Brian Regan, Kathleen Madigan, Elayne Boosler, Bill Mahr, Jerry Seinfeld and Meryl Streep.
