As an old dad with a young daughter, Dave Rattigan has gained new perspective at the cost of sleep, patience and logical thought. His CD (Dave Rattigan: Thinks He’s Funny) received airplay on XM-Sirius satellite radio and other stations, his video clips ran on NickMom.com, and he's done hundreds of shows at clubs, theaters, corporate shows, private parties, bars, colleges and fundraisers. He had a small role in the independent film Heavy Times, and has appeared in commercials for Olympia Sports and iParty. He made three appearances on the syndicated Steve Katsos Show. An award-winning journalist and former columnist for North Shore Sunday and the glossy North Shore magazine, he has written humor for the Boston Globe, Christian Science Monitor, and others. Over several years, he has performed in and served as a judge for the Boston Comedy Festival, and performed at a Boston-themed fringe show at the Kilkenny Comedy Festival in Ireland. He is the host and producer for the standup stage show How Men Think (Or Do They?), and creator of the web series Post Office Golf League. He runs Scamps Comedy Productions, which over seven years has raised more than $240,000 for good causes.
